Stabilisation works will be starting on site this summer to protect the Kilmainham Mill complex. This wonderful historic site deep in the heart of Kilmainham is tucked away from view, sitting south of the Royal Hospital site, off Rowserstown Lane. Look out for the substantial brick chimney on your travels through Kilmainham, visible from the surrounding areas. Though the present-day buildings date to the nineteenth century, there is thought to be a history of milling on this site dating back to the 1700s.
