President of Ireland Catherine Connolly visited the recently completed Deanery Mews for its official opening. Designed as a flexible and welcoming space, The Mews will host a wide range of activities including community gatherings, educational programmes, rehearsals, recitals and small‑scale performances.

Speaking at the event, President Connolly said; "It’s wonderful to be here and just walking through this oasis of beauty in the middle of the city has had a calming effect on me and I hope it is something that can be shared with as many people as possible. The finished Mews is a great credit to all those involved in the project."
